The Decapolis - during Roman rule, the Romans built a series of 10 cities that traded with one another and became a powerful force throughout the world. Here are the remains of one of their cities: Jerash. This is a perfect example of a traditional Roman City. The pictures here show they had a theatre and a temple and what is called a cardo. At the theatre we had several performance from our very talented students. Including a beatboxing medley and Jordanian drummers. I (surprise) ran down and danced with the drummers.
